Media
TWG made its first direct investment in Africa’s media sector through Dominion TV, a Pan-African network based in Ghana. As a minority shareholder with management control, we’ve led Dominion TV’s expansion to two 24/7 channels broadcasting across 49 countries on DStv—the continent’s largest direct broadcast satellite service—as well as a free-to-air presence via Ghana Broadcasting Corporation. Under TWG’s leadership, the network also broke into global streaming with its award-winning film A Taste of Sin on Netflix.
