The Whitaker Group (TWG) is a committed advocate for Africa’s health and development priorities. Extensive relationships with African Ministers of Health, senior health officials and leaders from other branches of government all across the continent enable TWG to facilitate innovative, effective and sustainable partnerships addressing Africa’s health care challenges. TWG’s comprehensive approach works to maximize the resources, expertise and commitments of all stakeholders, while upholding the development gains of private sector-led investments and job growth in Africa.
We support African Ministries of Health by facilitating consultations with key stakeholders and working to mobilize resources and partnerships around top priorities such as strengthening of health systems infrastructure, technical capacity building and improving access to quality medicines.
In addition, TWG works on behalf of diverse private sector clients to enhance the on-the-ground impact of health partnerships in Africa and strengthen positive brand recognition around corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives and other commitments. TWG also has proven expertise in developing comprehensive stakeholder mapping of global health sector resources, funders, partnerships, and leaders to assist clients in maximizing strategic relationships and identifying new partners.
TWG has built up extensive experience guiding clients on implementing successful outreach and education campaigns around major US Government and WHO initiatives. TWG also manages high-level events on the margins of major conferences and international meetings for clients in health.
