All of the positive aspects have been covered but there may also be a negative aspect. There might be some serious consequences regarding implementation of nuclear energy across the whole continent. Areas such as southern Sudan or Somalia would probably be left out of any nuclear plans due to the ongoing conflicts. As a result these regions would not benefit from the new energy supplies, leading to further impoverishment and continued problems. Another scenario would be the introduction of nuclear material into these places, possibly starting a situation similar to that in Iran where suspicions concerning nuclear weapons development have been voiced by certain western countries. It is definitely one solution to the continent's energy needs and we need ideas like this to kick start a more sustainable future.
